Honestly, I thought we had missed it.
The sun was setting quicker than I had expected and the Golden Hour was quickly fading. I scolded myself under my breath as I picked up our pace; I knew I should have scheduled the shoot for earlier. We managed to get to the field of flowers right as the sun was dipping behind the trees. After days of nothing but harsh heat and humid weather, the cool air and soft light was a relief. Despite my concerns, the final hours of light were warm and lingering.
Juliet had spent the last 10 months studying abroad in Europe, splitting up her semesters between Germany and Italy. A wold traveler, fellow photographer, and dear friend, it was wonderful to have her back on this side of the world.
